The Great Big Stitched Postcard Swap is a quarterly global swap of stiched postcard love, where people across the world make a postcard-sized piece of art using any materials they like. The only rules are that it needs to include some kind of stitching, and it needs to fit with that quarter’s swap theme.
Every participant is allocated a swap partner to post their creation to, and then they receive some creative goodness (in the form of another handmade postcard) from someone else somewhere in the world.
It is free to enter (participants just pay for the cost of posting their postcard) – and it is a whole lot of fun!
The theme was "BLOOM". The first pictures are of the postcard I sent to a girl in America and the last photos are of the postcard I received back from another girl from America...
My postcard came from Donnalee Nichols, you can see more of her work on her blog here
Participants are then asked to post the cards they have received on the groups Flickr page here
