★ ETSY FRIDAY ★

If you are new to Etsy you may not know about the Treasury pages.

This is where members and sellers promote little collections of goods they like, linked either by colour, theme or genre.  It is a really good way to get noticed on etsy, which has over 300000 shops.  So if someone puts one of your items in their treasury make sure you thank them.

Here are some of my favourite recent treasuries...

Granny Chic

Have treated myself to "Granny chic" from dottie angel and Ted and Agnes.  It is full of crafty recipes and inspiration for the handmade home.  I think I must be a bit of a Granny as this has to be my favourite book EVER!

Full of gorgeous imagery from the Homes of Tif Fussel (Dottie Angel) and Rachelle Blondel (Ted & Agnes).  Both women share a mutual love of handcrafted and secondhand. There are plenty of lovely handmade tutorials in here and also lots of interiors inspirations from their homes, workspaces and caravans!

♥ WEDDING WEDNESDAY - The Dress ♥

Wedding Diary #6 - DRESSES

Probably the most important choice to make for your big day!

The important thing to remember is you must try on a few different styles.  A friend of mine had her perfect dress in her head for years but when she tried it on it didn't suit her figure so she ended up with a dress she wouldn't have looked twice at in a magazine but was perfect for her and she looked amazing!

Anyways I'm going to ignore my own advice and show a collection of dresses that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!...

I just love this vintage style dress from twigs and honey

LOVE this elegant gown from shopbop

Vintage wedding dress company has a collection of real
vintage dresses from 1900 to 1970s

Gorgeous Jenny Packham dress

Love the lace capped sleeves on this dress

A pretty boho dress

 Vintage lacy number

Really pretty petal detail

and finally...wowzers!

♥ WEDDING WEDNESDAY - Save the Date ♥

Wedding Diary #5 - Save the dates

The Date is set, the amazing venue is booked so now you need to let people know.  It is time to send out your "save the dates!".  Usually sent out at least 6-12 months before the big event so recipients who wish to attend can keep the date free.  This is usually followed by a formal invitation nearer the time.

Here are some fab ideas for save the dates...

Save the date printables from here, just add twine.
